Does Zinc react with Methanol
l have a mild steel sheet metal part that will be subjected to water and
methanol, is Zinc Passivate (plating) an appropriate coating?
sorry , zinc and methanol donnot react with each other.
Regards. anyhow they can be reacted on heating them in a suitable catalyst
to convert into zinc hydroxide and alocohol. Regards.
